Commission proposal to extend temporary protection for Ukrainians in the EU

On 19 September, the European Commission proposed to extend the temporary protection of people fleeing Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, to 3 March 2025. This will provide certainty and support for millions of displaced people and ensure access to education, labour, housing, and welfare.
