For the next RAN YOUNG meeting, we are looking for practitioners who are interested in exchanging views about timely P/CVE themes with a platform of young people from 14 different countries.

Background of the meeting

The RAN YOUNG platform consists of a group of young people who are either studying or starting their professional lives in the field of P/CVE or related societal issues. The RAN YOUNG Platform offers the opportunity to young actors from around the EU to expand their network and gain more knowledge about P/CVE. Following an event on peer-to-peer exchange earlier this year, this event focuses on learning from experienced practitioners in the field of P/CVE. Therefore, we are looking for practitioners who are working on P/CVE themes and would like to share their approach and daily practice with this group of young people.

During the meeting, practitioners from the Working Groups and the RAN YOUNG participants will explore and discuss developments related to (violent) extremism across different countries in the EU. Practitioners who are interested in attending the meeting will get the opportunity to hear what young people across the EU are observing in their countries. On the second day we ask interested practitioners to share their approaches, project or practice, and promote discussion with the platform of young people. This way the young people can learn about the importance and approaches of first-line practitioners in P/CVE.

Practitioners and initiatives we are looking for are:

  • P/CVE practitioners who want to share their P/CVE approaches with a group of young people from different countries in the EU;
  • and who are interested in hearing about what different developments young people across the EU see in their countries;

How to register

If you are interested in attending this meeting, please register here before 8 September. We will invite participants based on this information. Please keep in mind that we have only a limited number of places available for this meeting to foster exchanges, so participation is not guaranteed.

Please note, the meeting will be held in English.
