The remainder of this paper will firstly cover the highlights of the discussions that were held during the different parts of the 2-day meeting. Secondly, the do’s, don’ts and remaining questions are presented.

This online RAN Communication and Narratives (C&N) Working Group meeting explored how the (online) street knowledge of first-line practitioners can be used to improve public communications to combat mis- or disinformation.

This report will consider aspects of the media that may contribute to polarisation, current dynamics of the news media consumption in Europe, trends affecting these dynamics, and approaches that practitioners could adopt to design effective responses.

This specialised paper is intended for P/CVE practitioners, who are defined as skilled professionals, and sometimes volunteers, who design and implement various P/CVE strategies, programmes and projects.

On 10 and 11 November 2022, practitioners with experience in working online gathered with (tech) experts and researchers experienced in the topic of deepfakes and synthetic media to discuss these questions.

Video games, in-game communication features, gaming (-adjacent) platforms and other gaming-related content can support P/CVE efforts and contribute to more positive, healthy and safe experiences for players and users of all ages.

Conspiracy narratives are not new but have recently become a more pressing policy concern, as they have become prominent “drivers” of anti-government and anti-establishment sentiments.

Antisemitism is an old phenomenon and seemingly ever present throughout history. Many conspiracy narratives, old and new, are antisemitic. These narratives are often present in extremist ideologies.
