In this Update, therefore, we feature again the latest publication of the Spotlight magazine, and the latest episodes of The View, Special Report and RAN Reporters programmes, and we provide information about the Remembrance Day and all other upcoming events.

The target audience for this meeting are exit and probation practitioners involved in the rehabilitation of individuals leaving a violent extremist group and/or abstaining from radical ideology.

This meeting will explore how the (online) street-knowledge of first line practitioners can be used to improve public communications  to combat mis- or disinformation. For example, it is important to determine who the target audience is, and frontline practitioners have unique insights into this.

We are currently looking for participants with relevant expertise to take part in a meeting on ‘Practical tools for information exchange and cooperation within prisons and with external actors in the management and reintegration of VETOs’.

We are currently looking for suitable police experts with an expertise in modern-day online and offline right-wing extremism and police capacities and responses to right wing extremism online and offline.

In this Update therefore, we announce the launch of a new call for participants, we take a look back at some of the work of RAN YOUNG over the past year, and we highlight the role that young people play in preventing and countering violent extremism (P/CVE).

For our RAN Youth & Education (Y&E) Working Group meeting, we are looking for youth workers and school staff. Practitioners who can provide concrete examples from daily practices, or who experience challenges around this topic, are invited to respond to this call for participants.
