CERIS Disaster Resilient Societies: Annual event

The annual CERIS-DRS (Disaster-Resilient Societies area) will take place at the BAO venue (Brussels) from the 4^th to 7^th December.

The aim is to gather DRS actors around news and perspectives related to on-going and starting projects, as well as facilitating the dialogue among policy-makers, practitioners, scientists, industry/SMEs and civil society about current developments and expectations for 2024 in the Disaster Risk Reduction sector.

The main sessions will be related to DRS sub-areas, namely:

• 4^th December (afternoon): CBRNe
• 5^th December (all day): Societal Resilience and Risk Governance
• 6^th December (all day): Technologies for First and Second Responders
• 7^th December (all day): Interoperability and Standardisation (Crisis management, CBRNe)
