The Anti-Corruption Partnership Forum aims to further improve international cooperation in the fight against corruption. The first meeting of the newly established Forum, co-hosted by the European Commission and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), took place in the beginning of July 2024. Participants included the OECD, the Group of States Against Corruption (GRECO) of the Council of Europe, the League of Arab States, the African Union, the Organization of American States, the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Forum (IMF).

The forum should help reduce the administrative burden for countries participating in review mechanisms of their anti-corruption frameworks, notably by boosting cooperation and the exchange of information between the international organisations carrying out the reviews. This could be done by creating a mechanism to exchange the data and a common calendar. Participants agreed to explore the exchange of tools and to work together on several topics such as the measurement of corruption, beneficial ownership transparency and procurement.

Participants also agreed that increased coordination and exchange of knowledge and experience could improve service delivery for their Member States and avoid duplication of efforts. Therefore, the forum will meet once or twice a year.

The Anti-Corruption Partnership Forum was launched during the 10th Conference of States Parties of the UN Convention Against Corruption in December 2023
