Project description
The method aims at the recovery and the rehabilitation of prison inmates by facing the reasons leading to their criminal behavior and replacing them with more positive ones. This is possible inside a community made up of inmates, volunteers, and educators which work together to help and look for new solutions to rehabilitation.
In order to move on from the certainty of punishment to the certainty of recovery it is absolutely necessary to believe in the extraordinary power of authentic relationships between human beings and trust in human potential for change.
During the process, inmates may move from very high levels and circles of violence to recognition, happiness and transcendence by means of taking care of their existential needs. This is presumably also valid for violent extremist offenders.
