Date of roadmap: 11/04/2017
The Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) is established for the period 2014 to 2020 to contribute to the efficient management of migration flows and to the implementation, strengthening and development of the common policy on asylum, subsidiary protection and temporary protection and the common immigration policy, while fully respecting the rights and principles enshrined in the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.
The interim evaluation of the AMIF will look at the progress made in the implementation of the programme, and assess whether corrective actions are needed to make sure that the programme delivers as planned. It will also contribute to the preparation of the next generation of funding instruments as part of the multiannual financial framework post-2020.
