Details Publication date7 April 2026AuthorDirectorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs Description In line with the Strategic Orientations on an EU coordinated approach to prevention of radicalization, the work of TP3 in 2026 will focus on the rapidly evolving role of online environments and new technologies in shaping extremist narratives, recruitment strategies and hybrid threats. In 2025, TP3 meetings indentified and created space for exchange, while still achieving concrete outcomes. Panel members expressed interest in applying the lessons learned to their respective fields and in building partnerships. In 2026, we want to ensure that this enthusiasm translates into action and impact, so that the work we do in these meetings leads to real-life outcomes that benefit not only panel members but everyone involved in the process (parents, first-line workers, educators, policy makers, LEAs, etc.) in all Member States.Building on insights from 2025, TP3 will further examine how terrorist and violent extremist actors exploit emerging online spaces, online ecosystems and information manipulation techniques, particularly in relation to global developments and societal disruptions.
