Description

The publication Inspirational practices in the field of migrant integration: examples of good practices from the Czech Republic, Poland, Israel, and Europe highlights 24 innovative, tried-and-tested initiatives.

These successful projects have all been proven to advance integration on the local level and across areas such as education, healthcare, employment, and in terms of social cohesion. The publication is produced by the Migrant Integration Through Education (MINTE) project, financed by the EU’s Erasmus+ fund.

The collection delivers less-examined perspectives on local-level integration, focusing on initiatives from Central and Eastern Europe, and Israel, complemented by a selection of additional practices from across Europe.

While the practices included in the collection were all developed within their specific local context, they are all also easily transferable. Most of them have been implemented over long periods. Others focus on short-term responses to the arrival of people displaced from Ukraine, and have been included in the collection because their positive impact is worth highlighting.

The publication is tailored to the needs of integration practitioners, local government officials, NGOs, educators, as well as anyone else interested in fostering inclusive societies.
