Description

On 20 October 2025, the EU Knowledge Hub on Prevention of Radicalisation organised in Brussels the first Policy and Practice Joint Event (PPJE) on the topic of “Preventing Radicalisation among Minors”. This first event of its kind brought together more than 100 participants — including policymakers, practitioners and researchers from all around Europe to reflect on innovative approaches to prevent and deter radicalisation of our youth.

The discussions underscored that the radicalisation of minors is driven by a complex, high-speed interaction of developmental vulnerabilities, unmet psychosocial needs, and sophisticated online exploitation. Therefore, understanding these factors is critical for devising effective early intervention strategies.
