Description

The second meeting of Thematic Panel 2, entitled ‘Early identification & ‘now what’? From spotting vulnerabilities to intra- and inter-agency information sharing procedures, took place on 2-3 July 2025, in Prague, and brought together 36 participants, including Co-leaders, the Secretariat, the Policy Officer, Special Advisors, as well as 29 TP2 Members, namely policymakers, researchers, and practitioners from 16 European countries.

As part of the EU Knowledge Hub on the Prevention of Radicalisation, TP2 is mandated to effectively prevent radicalisation in prisons while improving the rehabilitation and reintegration of persons sentenced to terrorism-related crimes, or assessed as radical, extremist or vulnerable to radicalisation. Considering these goals, the TP meeting included presentations, a study visit, and discussions where attendees explored early identification of vulnerabilities to radicalisation and intra- and inter-agency information sharing procedures.
