EMN Netherlands national conference: Early integration of applicants for international protection

We are pleased to announce the conference ‘Early integration of applicants for international protection: European and Dutch experiences in promoting employment, language learning and cultural orientation’, organised by the European Migration Network Netherlands (EMN Netherlands), which will take place in The Hague on 12 October 2026. 

As the European network providing objective, comparable policy-relevant information and knowledge on emerging issues relating to asylum and migration in Europe, we are looking forward to sharing insights into our research on early integration measures by EU Member States and EMN Observer Countries, and on the challenges in implementing these measures. 

Against the backdrop of a renewed focus by the Dutch government on early integration, particularly with regard to the labour market and increased attention on this topic within the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum, we eagerly anticipate fruitful discussions on stage and with the audience.
