EMN France national conference: Combatting trafficking in human beings at EU and national levels

EMN France's national conference 2025 is set to take place at Cercle d’Aumale, 22 rue d’Aumale, 75009 Paris on 2 October 2025. Join in-person to discuss EU and national strategies to tackle trafficking in human beings (THB).

  • Conferences and summits

The EMN published two studies on trafficking in human beings (THB): one in 2021 on the detection, identification and protection of victims of THB and one in 2025 on the international dimension of the EU policy to prevent and combat THB and protect the victims of this crime.

EMN France’s national conference 2025 aims to highlight the key findings of the later EMN study, and to provide a platform for discussing the situation in France and selected EMN Member and Observer Countries.

Three dedicated panels will focus respectively on:

  1. national policies to combat THB across different EMN Member Countries and protect victims,
  2. efforts to address new forms of THB and dismantle networks
  3. perspectives regarding international cooperation tools.

In addition, a presentation of the EU Strategy on combatting trafficking in human beings will offer participants a broader European perspective on the issue.
