EMN Belgium conference: Skills Mobility Partnerships

Skills Mobility Partnerships are an integral part of the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum. Belgium has a rich tradition of economic migration and has tested several Skills Mobility pilot projects. Their success is best summarized in the words of EU Commissioner Johansson: “This is the future”. The conference will bring together several stakeholders, both private and public actors, to discuss the policy and practice regarding Skills Mobility. Participants will get to know the various projects as well as have the opportunity to network. Day 1 of the conference, the EMN Roundtable, will focus on the EU dimension of Skills Mobility, while Day 2 will be dedicated to the Belgian context.
