Description

The annual CERIS FCT (Fight against Crime and Terrorism) event will take place online, on 21 and 22 September from 10h00 to 16h30 CET, with lunch breaks from 12h to 13h.
The first day of the event will be the AI-day, where various strategic as well as action-oriented aspects of AI in security research and innovation will be discussed, in the area of FCT and beyond. Among others, we will hear about security research policy aspects, AI accountability framework for security practitioners, citizens’ role, (inter)national initiatives, and security research projects from the latest AI call.
The second day of the event will be the communication&exploitation day. We will discuss the importance and different aspects of communication of security research projects and, together with selected success stories, present the possibilities and existing mechanisms facilitating the exploitation of projects’ results.
