Description

This annual event was established in the aftermath of the Madrid bombings, which took place on 11 March 2004 but it serves as a ceremony for the victims/survivors of all the attacks that have been perpetrated in Europe ever since and for European victims/survivors of attacks outside of Europe.
This virtual ceremony will provide a unique opportunity for victims/survivors to share their experience and have their story heard, and in turn, to demonstrate to all victims/survivors our collective efforts to protect and support them.
The event will also include institutional speeches, a testimonial from a first responder, a presentation from civil society and from a Member State.
You can follow the live ceremony following This Link from 9:30 am to 12:30 CET.
If you are yourself a victim and wish to attend virtually the event, please contact us via email.
