4th Workshop of Representatives of Detention Centers in the EU

EMN Luxembourg is co-organizing with the Detention Centre of the Luxembourgish Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs the 4th Workshop of Heads of Detention Centers in the EU.  

This meeting of representatives of detention centers is for practitioners onlywith the following preliminary agenda.

27 September 2022:

  1. Measures taken in the framework of fighting Covid-19 in the detention centers: challenges and lessons learned.
  2. Digitalisation of services in the detention centers

28 September 2022:

  1. Organisation of psychosocial support services inside the detention centers
  2. Training of the security agents

As in the previous editions, each Member State is encouraged to provide a short presentation on how these aspects are handled in your respective Member States.

A social event and a visit to the detention center will be organized for the participants.
