Belgium's UNIZO provides tailored HR advice and resources on inclusive recruitment

UNIZO, member of SME United, is Belgium’s biggest organisation representing the self-employed, small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and liberal professions Brussels and Flanders. UNIZO works to sensitise entrepreneurs and employers to the prospect of hiring more refugees and migrants. It also informs them about the procedures and the often-complex legislation surrounding hiring people with migration background.

Given lower employment rates among migrants, UNIZO also works with partners, including the European Social Fund (ESF) and regional authorities, to invest in various initiatives on inclusive workplaces. Examples include UNIZO’s free and tailored HR advice for companies, as well as its webinars and videos on how to recruit inclusively.
