EMN collects, analyses and publishes factual information on migration and asylum issues.
Slovenia
The SI NCP is composed of ten experts from different ministries responsible for migration and asylum area, such as the Ministry of Interior and the Police, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affair and Equal Opportunities. The subject responsible for Slovenian NCP operations and activities is Ministry of Interior which cooperates within EMN under Decision of European Council and Parliament on the establishment of European Migration Network (2008/381/ES). Based on the EMN Multiannual Working Programme, the SI NCP cooperates with other NCPs, Commission, EU Institutions, EU Agencies, NGOs and other EMN stakeholders and partners in preparing surveys, studies, analyses, individual statistics, information leaflets, etc.
The SI member of the Steering Board and the SI NCP Team working closely and coordinating work between different ministries responsible for migration and asylum as well as among other stakeholders involving in migration and asylum issues such as international organisations, non-governmental organisations, research institutions, consultative companies, individuals etc. in order to implement the EMN working programmes and other activities concerning the EMN.
