The SK EMN NCP is composed of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Bratislava, which acts as the national coordinator for the EMN; the Ministry of Interior, specifically the Bureau of Border and Alien Police of the Presidium of the Police Force, the Migration Office and the Department of Foreign and European Affairs of the Office of the Minister of Interior; the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family and the Statistical Office.

The SK EMN NCP actively contributes to all EMN activities including preparation of the EMN studies and reports and promoting the EMN’s main objectives, aims and outputs to expert and lay public throughout the Slovak Republic.
With this aim, the SK EMN NCP organises or is invited to various conferences, seminars, presentation visits and discussion meetings. Such events are attended by the representatives of ministries, governmental institutions, state administration, university students and teachers, independent researchers, employees of research institutes as well as NGOs. The SK EMN NCP keeps good relations with this target group not only by means of the network meetings but also via its monthly e-newsletter, annual printed newsletter and national EMN website.
