EMN collects, analyses and publishes factual information on migration and asylum issues.
Latvia
In Latvia activities of the European Migration Network are implemented by the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs (LV EMN NCP). As an observer, Latvia has been involved in the EMN since 2003. After adoption of the Council Decision 2008/381/EC of 14 May 2008, Latvia has participated in all activities of the Network. Currently the National Contact Point consists of four experts and a Steering Board Member.
Support of the national network partners is of major importance for the successful work of the contact point.
