Transport carriers can now register for EES and ETIAS on eu-LISA website

The following transport carriers:

• air carriers,
• sea carriers and
• international carrierstransporting groups overland by coach

can now register for

• EES, the Entry/Exit System and
• ETIAS, the European Travel Information and Authorisation System,

on the eu-LISA website.

The registration enables carriers to perform a query in the EU IT systems before transporting passengers to the Schengen Area, as is their obligation under EU law.
