RAN Practitioners Update 93 | February 2022

A new year often heralds a new beginning, a time to reflect, appraise what needs to be done and set goals and ambitions for the year ahead. While it can bring fresh hope for what can be achieved, it also brings with it a new set of challenges.

This is no different for practitioners working in P/CVE. In the last two years, the COVID-19 pandemic has given new opportunities for terrorists to radicalise and recruit.

As we enter the second month of 2022, there are a diverse range of emerging and evolving P/CVE threats which practitioners must be cognisant of.

To help us to map and understand these threats, this edition of the RAN Practitioners Update features the latest episodes of both ‘The View’ and ‘RAN in Focus’, which take a look at the P/CVE landscape in Europe today and forecast some of the key P/CVE threats practitioners might have to tackle in the coming months.
