New global platform promotes meaningful collaboration on migrant integration

Ashoka and IKEA Social Entrepreneurship launched the Hello Accelerator, a new collaborative global platform.

The initiative aims to accelerate impact in the field of migration by uniting social entrepreneurs, civil society organisations, business leaders, policymakers, academics, and the media. It will promote the exploration, building, and implementation of solutions to drive socio-economic inclusion for migrant talent across Europe and Latin America. Ultimately, its goal is to foster a more inclusive society with fewer barriers to collaboration.

The Hello Accelerator was developed by Hello World, a project of Ashoka, which aims to 'channel innovation and change-making into the migration ecosystem'. Hello World works to 'generate connections between actors and frame the conversation around solutions', and to identify and work with changemakers and social entrepreneurs to play a key role in 'designing new systems and develop new ways of seeing and understanding migration and people on the move dynamics'.

IKEA Social Entrepreneurship has been partnering since 2012 with social entrepreneurs to create positive social impact around the world.
