The Refugee Reception Centre and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Lithuania, in collaboration with partners from Italy and Belgium, launched the Reinforcing Integration through Sponsorship Enhancement (RISE) project. The initiative focuses on improving refugee access to housing, a critical aspect of successful integration.

RISE aims to empower refugees by fostering innovative community support systems and enhancing cooperation among stakeholders like local authorities and community organisations. The project will also develop toolkits to simplify housing access and raise awareness about available housing options for refugees.

By building these support mechanisms, RISE seeks to create a sustainable framework for refugee housing integration in Lithuania, Italy, and Belgium. The project will run until April 2026.
