The Final Report on the Justice and Home Affairs agencies’ network was recently released, providing a detailed overview of the network’s activities, priorities and main achievements for 2023.

Throughout the year, the agencies addressed various topics, including combating transnational crime and terrorism, preventing exploitation, and fostering law enforcement cooperation on issues related to illicit drug-trafficking. Furthermore, they introduced new initiatives to tackle cybersecurity threats, and worked together to promote and protect fundamental rights, address gender inequality, and safeguard personal data.

Digitalisation, the implementation of the EU Green Deal, cybersecurity along with information provision in mixed migration situations, were key priorities for the networks’ work programme. The European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA), which chaired the network throughout the year, initiated and organised several activities under each priority.;
