Tomorrow 22 September, Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson will participate in the virtual launch of the European Drug Report 2020, together with Laura d’Arrigo, the Chair of the Management Board of the of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA), and the Drug Agency’s Director, Alexis Goosdeel. The European Drug Report 2020 will provide a comprehensive analysis of recent drug use and market trends across the EU, Turkey and Norway, and will focus on the following issues:
- The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on drug use, supply and services;
- Information on the health costs of drug use in Europe today;
- The latest data on drug production and trafficking trends.
The report will be accompanied by a key issues report resenting a selection of the main findings from the latest analysis.
