The Radicalisation Awareness Network (RAN Practitioners) connects frontline practitioners from across Europe with one another, to exchange knowledge, first-hand experiences and approaches to preventing and countering violent extremism in all its forms.

The RAN Practitioners is a network of frontline practitioners who work daily with both those vulnerable to radicalisation and those who have already been radicalised.
Topics and Working Groups
RAN Practitioners is structured around nine thematic Working Groups, driven by a Steering Committee (SC) chaired by the European Commission.
RAN YOUNG PLATFORM
The RAN YOUNG Platform is open to the next generation of influential leaders, thinkers and doers in the field of prevention and countering of violent extremism (P/CVE).
The RAN Practitioners papers consolidate RAN’s Practitioners expertise and knowledge on radicalisation and violent extremism into an accessible format, providing up-to-date information.
The RAN Practitioners calendar displays the RAN Practitioners events that will take place over the coming weeks. Unless otherwise stated, attendance is by invitation only.
The Radicalisation Awareness Network Practitioners (RAN Practitioners) is a network of frontline or grassroots practitioners from around Europe. There are more than 3,200 RAN Practitioners participants* from around the EU.
Collection of inspiring practices
As a practical, evolving and growing tool, the RAN Practitioners Collection offers practitioners, policymakers and researchers the opportunity to draw inspiration from existing practices and to find examples adaptable to their local/specific context.
Each month, RAN Practitioners produces a newsletter that sums up the latest publications and activities of the network.
Civil Society Empowerment Programme
The Civil Society Empowerment Programme supports civil society, grass roots organisations and credible voices.
RAN Practitioners Ambassadors
The main role of RAN Practitioners Ambassadors is to engage, inspire and support national frontline practitioners working daily with both those at risk of radicalisation and those who have been radicalised.
RAN in the Western Balkans
The RAN in the Western Balkans project aims to support the prevention of radicalisation in the region and to enhance synergies between EU and Western Balkans professionals, in line with EU Policy.
Conferences and Webinars
RAN Practitioners meetings and webinars comprise yearly events like the High-Level Conference, the Plenary and the European Remembrance Day for Victims of Terrorism.
