Project description
Teaching Traumatized Children is a two-day training workshop for school teams. The training is based upon the Dutch book Lesgeven aan getraumatiseerde kinderen by L. Coppens, M. Schneijderberg and C. van Kregten.
The workshop is delivered in 8 modules and the aim is to train teachers and other school personnel to recognize trauma symptoms in children and help traumatised children to learn and strengthen their resilience.
Working in a trauma-sensitive way with children within the schools protects them from radicalisation.
