The View: P/CVE experts discuss the ongoing impact of the Gaza conflict on polarisation

In this episode, our panel have an in-depth discussion about the huge impact of the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza on polarisation in Europe.

We are joined by:  Dr Joana de Deus Pereira, Senior research fellow at RUSI Europe, specialising in counter terrorism and  P/CVE, and a RAN Policy Support expert; Kelsey Bjornsgaard, Director of Practice for the Strong Cities Network; and Isabella Pirlogea, an EU counter-extremism researcher and RAN YOUNG practitioner.
Our panel touch upon the convergence between violent extreme on the left and right, and Islamic extremists, around antisemitic and anti-western narratives.

They also talk about the need to address polarisation and to encourage constructive dialogue within educational institutions across Europe.
