Description:

This report examines how disinformation in Kosovo is deliberately produced and strategically deployed by both domestic and foreign actors to deepen divisions between ethnic Albanian and Serb communities. Drawing on the 2025 KCSS study How Disinformation Fuels Ethno‑Political Radicalization, authored by Paçarizi, Ilazi, and Pallasch under the DISRUPT project, the report combines social‑media monitoring, interviews with civil society, and case studies of key incidents to show how engineered falsehoods polarise communities, harden ethnic identities, and undermine the Normalization Dialogue with Serbia. It outlines practical, evidence‑based steps for policymakers, institutions, and local actors to counter disinformation and strengthen societal resilience.
