Drawing primarily on the French context, this book examines masculinist ideologies as a form of gender-based extremism emerging in reaction to advances in women's rights. It explores the narratives, organisational structures and networks that sustain these movements, analysing how conspiracy beliefs, perceived male grievances and anti-feminist discourses can contribute to radicalisation and, in some cases, acts of violence or terrorism. The book also discusses the implications of masculinist extremism for security and prevention policies.
