Radicalization Processes and Transitional Phases in Female and Male Detainees Residing in Dutch Terrorism Wings

Description

The study examines how men and women radicalise and disengage from extremism, using in‑depth data from 26 terrorism suspects and convicts held in Dutch high‑security terrorism wings. It focuses on the processes that lead individuals into extremism, the factors that sustain it, and the conditions that help them move away from it, with special attention to gender differences.
