Description
This report explores the potential lessons learned from Member States' experience with terrorismin the last two decades to prevent and counter this phenomenon. It argues that not prioritising the harmonisation of preventive approaches can be costly for Member States. It supports continuous care for victims and survivors and their involvement in awareness-raising efforts, holistic mechanisms to prevent radicalisation (especially online and among youth), and support systems towards adequate reintegration of vulnerable individuals can be a first step.
